Oatmeal Cookie Recipes

Oatmeal cookies are like having a bowl of oatmeal in an easy-to-carry form! Best when served with a big glass of milk. Try these recipes:

No Bake Oatmeal Cookies

1 Stick Margarine
2 Cups Sugar
4 Tbs Cocoa
½ Cup Milk
½ Cup Peanut Butter
2 ½ Cups Quick Oats
½ Cup Chopped Nuts


Melt the margarine. Add sugar, cocoa and milk. Bring to boil - let bubble for 1 1/2 minutes.

Add peanut butter, oats and chopped nuts. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.

Let set in refrigerator.

Easy Oatmeal Cookies

 

1 Cup Raisins
3 Eggs
1 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Flour
½ tsp Salt
2 tsp Baking Powder
3 ½ Cups Quick Oats
1 Cup Sugar


Preheat oven to 350° F

Pour boiling water over raisins, let sit.

Combine all other ingredients together in a large bowl.

Drain the raisins, then stir in with the other ingredients.

Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet

Bake 12 - 15 minutes.

Cinnamon Oatmeal Cookies

 

2 Cups Old-fashioned Oats
1 ½ Cup All-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp Baking Soda
1 large Egg
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Melted butter (cooled)*
1 tsp Dark Molasses
¼ Cup Milk
2/3 Cup Chopped Nuts

* 2 sticks

Preheat oven to 350° F

Mix together oats, flour, cinnamon, and baking soda in a bowl and set aside.

In another bowl mix together egg and sugar, add butter and continue mixing until completely mixed, then add molasses and milk and mix again

Add oat mixture and pecans.

Scoop level measures of dough onto cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.

Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet before serving.

Ultimate Oatmeal Cookies

 

1 ¼ Cup Brown Sugar (packed)
1 Cup Softened Butter or Margarine
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla
½ tsp Salt
2 Eggs
3 Cups Old-fashioned Oats
1 1/3 Cup All-purpose Flour
1 Cup Raisins (optional)

Preheat oven to 350° F

Beat all ingredients except oats, flour and raisins in large bowl.

Stir in oats, flour and raisins.

Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until light brown.
